• We ship Fedex.
• We can ship to P. O. Boxes
• We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
• Our pecans are fresh.
• Harvest starts the end of September or first of October.
• Order early for Thanksgiving and Christmas to avoid delays with delivery.
• Yes, pecans are healthy and are a great to cook with, bake and eat as a snack.
• If you have a specific size of pecan piece let us know. We have large, medium, small and midgets.
• If you have a specific variety of pecan you would like, we will do our best to ship it to you. Varieties come off the tree at different times and may not be available when you order.
• Pecans can be kept in the refrigerator for about 9 -12 months. Pecans can be placed in the freezer for up to 2 years.
• You do not have to thaw pecans out when you bring them out of the freezer.
• When you receive your pecan pie, you may place it in the refrigerator to eat it soon, freeze it or eat it as you take it out of the box.
• We cannot ship chocolates in the summer. Texas heat can be brutal.
• We are a family owned business.
• Yes, we have retail store in San Saba that is opened all year. Actually with have two, Oliver Pecan and Oliver & Co.
• We have our own candy kitchen and pecan shelling plant.
• We have about 30,000 pecan trees.
• San Saba is in Central Texas in the Hill Country. We are about and 1 ½ hours from Austin, 3 hours from Dallas and 2 ½ hours from San Antonio. Easy day trips.
• Our population is about 3,000. Along with thousands of deer, turkey and wild hogs.
• We are the Pecan Capital of the World.
• Our high school mascot is the Armadillo. Go Dillos!
